The Daypack is great for quick access, and it's easy for carrying some bulky things, but the lack of pockets and compartments makes it difficult to work with if you have a lot of small, loose things (e.g. pens, chapstick, sunglasses, battery pack, charging cables, etc.) It's a nice backpack for carrying basics (laptop, jacket, water bottle, keys, etc.) to and from the office, but not that easy to use if you have to be out and about for a while.
The laptop compartment is made to fit 15", but it really caps out closer to 14.5". With a 15", I found that it would fit but it started to strain the compartment zipper, and my zipper busted in less than year.
Great pack with lots of space. I use it for the daily office commute and also for travel.
This bag was a great size for a daypack, and had an awesome outer shell material. I had 2 issues with my bag though. First, the zipper on the back laptop sleeve was just slightly too tight for the 15-inch Macbook it was designed for, which led to the zipper breaking on a small section after a short time, and then completely busting after about a year, IIRC. Secondly, the material on the inside zippered pockets was a little rough, so quickly throwing my hand in the bag to grab things in the main pocket resulted in an unpleasant sort of scraping against the zippered pockets.
My reflection bar (silver stripe in the bottom) worn out quite quickly which made my bag looks like quite worn one.
