The first travel set from Mylar/Carbon Fiber sailcloth with hand-laminated Insignia® fabric backing - in orange.
The black strands you see running through the fabric is carbon fiber, encased in Mylar to make lightweight and strong racing sails. This material was not intended for use with bags, so I started laminating it with a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) sailmakers use for numbers, logos etc. This adds the strength and durability needed for bag making, and results in a one of a kind look.
I plan to make more bags like this using the other colors I have - blue, green and black.
