Another true One Off!
This M DL Backpack is made from an old kiteboarding / kitesurfing kite, with a liner made from a sample of Japanese 3 layer waterproof fabric, seam sealed for extra water protection.
Kite fabric is pretty thin, so I laminate it with Ultra210 PSA from Challenge Sailcloth - a high quality UHMWPE ( Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene - i.e. Dyneema®, Spectra®, Cuben® Fiber, etc) with a pressure sensitive adhesive, which makes the kite fabric a lot stronger without adding much weight.
